BRIGHT DRIVE Diskpack

Robust, resilient, and field proven, BrightDrive Disk Packs are manufactured to extremely tight tolerances for mixing and matching in a Bright Drive Media Server to create the most flexible, reliable and cost effective shared media system for data-centric post production on the market today.

Our unique manufacturing process is designed to deliver media with the lowest possible latencies and highest long-term reliability. Our process is able to measure extremelys light variations in the original disk manufacturer's products allowing us to ship only those that can support precision disk recording and other high performance applications.

BrightDrive RAID DiskPacks all feature multiported cache and 72-hour battery backup assuring maximum availability and system security. They employ a RAID 5 disk redundancy strategy and feature hot-swap disk and power supply modules to ensure maximum integrity and uptime.

BrightDrive Expansion DiskPacks support a pay-as-you-grow architecture and can be daisy-chained to existing RAID packs dynamically, without the need for data backup or restriping.

Further, Expansion packs can be added with the latest drive capacities and pricing at the time of purchase all without loss of bandwidth or performance.

BrightDrive DiskPacks support out-of-band configuration and email-based notification of system events such as elevated operating temperature and disk or power supply failure. top

BRIGHTDRIVE BDI-SDI BDI-SDI is a simple user interface for ingesting and laying off data in multiple video formats. BDI-SDI bridges the gap between data centric workflows and previously existing legacy workflows such as tape-based and linear processes. Post-production companies benefit from increased flexibility in their choice of equipment. The interface operates in master and slave mode, allowing editors to use images as if ey were interior files in a DDR. BDI-SDI is fully compatible with BrightDrive real-time shared media systems providing a seamless and affordable transitionto data centric workflows.

BRIGHTDRIVE Gig-E Expander

The BrightDrive Gig E Expander adds significant I/O capability to a standard BrightDrive media server, providing an additiona l4 Ethernet ports for increased bandwidth and dat a throughput. A total of 8 Gig-E Expanders can be used with each BrightDrive system, providing an additional 32 Ethernetports in total.

LAN Accelerator greatly increases the transaction capability of the Bright Drive media sharing server. A total of 8 LAN Accelerators can be configured with a Bright Drive system, increasing x80 the standard IOPS performance.
