The Digital Intermediate Workflow
The DI workflow refers to an intermediate process where film is Scanned and/or Captured to a digital file format that preserves the film quality, yet allows it to be manipulated for Special FX, compositing and final grading / colour timing before being printed back to film.

This workflow, brought to you by DI Film Co. offers the technology and quality of the international feature film, yet is now available to the entire industry, for use in commercials, documentaries, TV production, music video's and more.

While many still shoot on film, it is equally as sensible to shoot on HD camera's and capture the data directly to Hard drive in the highest quality.
