Digital Intermediate Film Company Offers post-production services at the very highest level. It is this hands on approach that allows D.I. Our equipment always features the latest cutting edge hardware and software available and we are constantly pushing the speed and power boundaries when it comes to Digital Image Manipulation & Storage.

With support from companies like Hitachi, TYAN and NEXSAN AMD we are able to demonstrate the equipment we sell in a working environment where it is exposed to the rigours of the general industry and its demands.

This service is backed by years of experience which is still accumulated daily. It is this constant testing and development that places our products so far ahead when balancing the price/performance scales.

On-set Colour management for Features or High-end productions that wish to have a SCRATCH Review station at location. Providing 100% accurate full D.I. playback and grade available on location, means that the Director has un-precedented power and control over the creative process ensuring all subsequent processes happen faster, and with more colour accuracy as setup by the SCRATCH system under their guidance.

On-set Camera Data capture and Playback of Un-compressed RGB data (BF444 HD LUST Card can expand a YUV signal from a single-link HD camera to full RGB colour space in realtime during capture)

Data Capture from Telecine We then transfer these Massive data files to Compressed HD or SD for the offline editing process.

This means if you use an AVID, we are able to deliver files with the AVID codec of your choice and with all the meta-data intact. If you use Final Cut Pro, the same applies. This is all done internally and is a lossless process. No noise, and no artifacts. These files will accurately trace back to the Original Camera Data from the EDL's produced for a safe and enjoyable  Digital Intermediate Conform within SCRATCH.

Offline editing services are available featuring dry hire suites afor mobile installations (on-set/location)and we can supply editors with experience from having worked on numerous commercial's, Feature Films, and broadcast media.

Final Conform, SCRATCH offers primary Grade (Unlimited secondary grading), Effecting of this data (From any source) and preparation for printing to Film or broadcast medium (tape etc).
